This Certificate Course is equivalent to TAFE CERT 3 and can be fast tracked to suit your needs if operationally possible. Just ask about schedule.You must have completed one  our florist skills courses 3, 6 or 10 weeks or have had work place experience prior or other relevant course.

The content includes training as an TRADE QUALIFIED florist giving you  knowledge and confidence to work in the industry as a florist, floral designer,  events floral designer,  major online company production florist  or start your own side hustle  Cost is fully inclusive including flowers, sundries and tuition. The structure of this qualification recognises the diversity of different business models to a higher level of skills as a floral designer.

This course follows  the SUBJECTS and content of a  equivalent TAFES Cert 3 floristry with a little twigging, to suit your direction AND YOUR CAREER GOALS . I’m not an RTO, however I am a Qualified Certified Trainer & Assessor to Teach TAFE level equivalent.  You will receive a Certificate of completion with tasks and skills listed,  that have been covered as well as ongoing support to secure first position.

This course is suitable for all pathways within the floral industry.

You will have the opportunity to perform unpaid and paid work experience within the shop at asapflowers 

This industry is not strict on qualifications, it just needs to see some work experience and a COMPLETED course like this one,  and a passion, which you can gain during this course in a live florist environment. A high percentage of florists are not certified from an RTO and have learnt on the job, or have completed a course such as mine. Topics we cover include 16 core units & 3-5 electives according to AQF STANDARDS if you have done the 3,6 or 10 week skills courses with us,  you will receive a credit. Your trainer will take you to the grower and to the floral suppliers as part of your intergrated learning experience. At the end of the course you will be equipped with the skills to venture into any direction of floral design you choose.
