A brilliant intensive floristry in-house course covering CERT1 & CERT 2 format, including all aspects of techniques, construction, terminology and the best part you get to learn in a real life florist environment and be trained by a certified specialist florist trainer who has over 35 years in the industry, has owned and operated many shops, up to date with industry trends, and operating successful online floral sites, and once contracted to the biggest online companies.
The content includes training as an assistant florist giving you knowledge and confidence to work in the industry as a florist assistant, wholesale floral worker, events floral assistant, interior design assistant or major online company production assistant or basic skills to start your own side hustle Cost is fully inclusive including flowers, sundries and tuition. The structure of this qualification recognises the diversity of different business models and gives you the skills to follow many pathways of your choice.
This course follows the SUBJECTS and content of a equivalent TAFES Cert 1 & cert 2 floristry with a little twigging, to suit your direction AND YOUR CAREER GOALS . I’m not an RTO, however I am a Qualified Certified Trainer & Assessor to Teach TAFE level equivalent.
You will receive a Certificate of completion with tasks and skills listed, that have been covered as well as ongoing support to secure first position. This industry is not strict on qualifications, it just needs to see some work experience and a COMPLETED course like this one, and a passion, which you can gain during this course in a live florist environment. A high percentage of florists are not certified from an RTO and have learnt on the job, or have completed a course such as mine. Please see reviews.
Topics we cover include 9 core units & electives to include daily operations, research floral industry, environmental, teamwork, floral longetivity and handling, stock control, basic floral construction( if you have done the 3,6 or 10 week skills courses with us, you can skip Cert 1 & 2 and go straight to Cert 3(INC 1 & 2) We are not an RTO and there is no occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this course at this stage, a lot of the floral industry workers do NOT hold RTO certificates and operate effectively within the industry and its many pathways
