This course follows the SUBJECTS and content of a equivalent TAFES Cert 1 & cert 2 floristry with a little twigging, to suit your direction AND YOUR CAREER GOALS . I’m not an RTO, however I am a Qualified Certified Trainer & Assessor to Teach TAFE level equivalent. You will receive a Certificate of completion with tasks and skills listed, that have been covered as well as ongoing support to secure first position. This industry is not strict on qualifications, it just needs to see some work experience and a COMPLETED course like this one, and a passion, which you can gain during this course in a live florist environment. A high percentage of florists are not certified from an RTO and have learnt on the job, or have completed a course such as mine. Please see reviews.
Topics we cover include 9 core units & electives to include daily operations, research floral industry, environmental, teamwork, floral longetivity and handling, stock control, basic floral construction( if you have done the 3,6 or 10 week skills courses with us, you can skip Cert 1 & 2 and go straight to Cert 3. We are not an RTO and there is no occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this course at this stage, alot of the floral industry workers do NOT hold RTO certificates and operate effectively within the industry and its many avenues.
